Roddy

Roddy is a bull mink who is a guardian of the Whale Forest. Roddy is a large minkman with bull-like features. He wears dark clothing with a light-colored cape draped above his shoulders. He also has long, messy hair travelling down his back. He attacked Monkey D. Luffy for invading the Whale Forest despite the fact that Luffy was an acquaintance of Bepo, suggesting an aggressive and territorial nature. Similar to a bull, he can easily be distracted and enraged by fluttering objects, such as cloth. He also has the tendency to say "moo" during sentences.

He appears to be fairly strong physically, being able to clash against Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Kane technique with a headbutt of his own while being injured. He appears to be able to use Electro like the other guardians, but because Luffy is immune to electricity, it ended up not being effective on the rubber man. When Luffy entered the Whale Forest, Roddy and Blackback attacked him despite Bepo's assurance that he was a friend. As Luffy clashed with Roddy, Blackback wondered why Roddy's Electro did not work on Luffy, and when Jean Bart attempted to break up the fight, Blackback punched him away. Wanda and Carrot then came and pacified Roddy with a floating piece of cloth, causing him to attack it, resulting in him running his horns through a tree and getting stuck. He was then told to retreat by Pedro.
