Khachanov outplays Berdych to reach Marseille final

Russian Karen Khachanov outplayed Czech Tomas Berdych 6-3 6-2 to reach the Marseille Open final on Saturday, setting up a title showdown with Frenchman Lucas Pouille. World number 47 Khachanov was impeccable on serve, saving the meager three break points Berdych had throughout the duel. The 21-year-old has now beaten former world number four Berdych in both their meetings having also prevailed at last year's French Open. Pouille reached his second final of the season after a 6-3 7-6(6) defeat of Belarusian qualifier Ilya Ivashka.

List stays in front in Florida as Woods sits seven behind

Luke List shot a four-under par 66 to hold a one-stroke lead at the Honda Classic on Saturday while Tiger Woods' 69 ensured he remained within striking distance. List, the co-leader on Friday, birdied the last after a fantastic bunker shot for a seven-under 203 through three rounds at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. PGA champion Justin Thomas (65) and Webb Simpson (66) were a stroke behind with Britain's Tommy Fleetwood (67) and American Jamie Lovemark (68) another shot adrift. Sweden's Alex Noren also was in the mix as he bounced back from a 75 to shoot 65, a closing eagle boosting him to four-under at 206.
